Child Safety Standards

How iMingle prevents, detects, and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation.

1. Our commitment

iMingle has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any sexualization of minors.

These standards apply to imingle.fun and to the iMingle apps for Android and iOS. They sit alongside our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.

2. Adults only

iMingle is only for people aged 18 and over. Minors may not use the Service under any circumstances.

  • Everyone must confirm they are 18 or older before chatting.
  • In the app, an account is required and people enter their date of birth before their first chat. Anyone under 18 cannot continue, and the date of birth cannot be changed afterwards.
  • The app is rated for adults only in the App Store and Google Play.
  • Accounts we believe belong to a minor are removed.

3. What is prohibited

The following are prohibited and lead to an immediate, permanent ban:

  • sharing, displaying, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material of any kind;
  • sexual content or conversation involving, or directed at, anyone under 18;
  • grooming: building trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual contact or exploitation;
  • sextortion: threatening to share intimate images to obtain more images, money, or anything else;
  • trafficking, or advertising or soliciting the sexual exploitation of minors;
  • content that sexualizes minors, including drawn, animated, or AI-generated material; and
  • using iMingle to arrange contact with a minor elsewhere.

4. How to report

In a chat: tap Report, choose "Looks under 18" or "Nudity or sexual content", and add any details. In the app you can also block the person so you are never matched with them again. The reported person is not told who reported them.

By email: write to [email protected]. You don't need an account to report. Please don't attach or forward any illegal images; describe what you saw and when.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org; elsewhere, the INHOPE network lists your national hotline.

5. How we respond

Reports involving minors or child sexual exploitation are our highest priority. When we receive one we:

  • review it promptly, ahead of other reports;
  • permanently ban the account, device, and network involved, and remove any account we believe belongs to a minor;
  • report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant regional and national authorities, as required by law;
  • preserve the information we hold about the account as required by law, and cooperate with law enforcement requests; and
  • do not tell the reported person about a report to the authorities when that could hinder an investigation.

iMingle does not record or store video, audio, or chat messages. What we can preserve is the account and technical information described in our Privacy Policy, such as account details, IP addresses, device identifiers, and reports.

6. Prevention

  • Age confirmation before chatting, and date of birth in the app.
  • One-tap reporting and blocking in every chat.
  • Bans that cover accounts, devices, and networks, to stop banned people from coming back.
  • No private profiles, photo uploads, or message history, which limits how material can be shared or kept.
  • Clear rules, shown and accepted before anyone can chat.

7. Child safety contact

Our designated child safety contact can be reached at [email protected]. This address is monitored for reports and for questions from users, parents, and authorities about our CSAE prevention practices.
