Community Guidelines

Short, plain, and actually enforced. Be kind and you'll be fine.

1. The spirit of the thing

Treat the person on the other side like a person. That is honestly most of it. Everything below is just that sentence spelled out.

iMingle exists so strangers can have a fun, surprising conversation. That only works if people feel safe pressing the button. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service, and breaking them can get you banned.

2. Adults only

You must be 18 or older to use iMingle. If you are matched with someone who appears to be under 18, end the chat and report it. Any sexual content involving minors will be reported to the relevant authorities.

3. Keep it clean

No nudity, no sexual content, no sexual solicitation. Specifically:

  • do not show or expose genitals, or engage in sexual acts, on camera;
  • do not send or request sexual images or messages;
  • do not ask people to move to another platform for sexual content; and
  • do not offer or request paid sexual services.

4. Be respectful

  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
  • No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any similar characteristic.
  • No glorifying or encouraging violence or self-harm.
  • Not into the conversation? Just skip. No need to be cruel on the way out.

5. Protect each other's privacy

  • Do not record, screenshot, or stream another person's chat, face, or voice without their clear consent.
  • Do not share anyone's personal information: names, addresses, phone numbers, social accounts, workplaces, or anything else that could identify them.
  • Do not pressure people into revealing personal details.

And protect yourself: you never have to share where you live, your full name, or your socials. Strangers are strangers.

6. Nothing illegal

Do not use iMingle for anything against the law, including fraud, scams, buying or selling illegal goods, sharing illegal content, or planning harm to anyone.

7. No spam, scams, or bots

  • No advertising, promotional links, or recruiting for other services.
  • No asking for money, gift cards, crypto, or "investment" opportunities.
  • No bots, automation, scripts, or pre-recorded video streams.
  • No repeatedly spamming the same message across chats.

8. Be yourself

Do not impersonate other people, organizations, or iMingle staff. If you choose a display name for Premium, it must not be misleading, offensive, or someone else's name.

9. Reporting

If someone breaks these rules, tap Report in the chat, pick a reason, then Skip. Reports are reviewed and repeat offenders are banned.

Please report honestly. Filing false reports to get someone banned is itself a violation.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

10. What happens if you break the rules

Depending on severity and history, we may:

  • issue a warning;
  • temporarily block you from the Service;
  • permanently ban you, your device, or your network;
  • cancel Premium without a refund; and
  • report you to law enforcement where required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm.

Serious violations, especially anything involving minors, sexual exploitation, or threats of violence, result in an immediate permanent ban.
